We recently announced a slate of candidates for May's election to the Amigos Board of Directors. As you consider this list of nominees – all excellent choices – I thought it might be useful for me to outline how this process works.
At its March 6 meeting in Dallas, the Amigos Library Services Board of Directors participated in a planning session and discussion to address short- and long-term issues related to membership and member participation in Amigos programs. Amigos staff will conduct an analysis of data requested by the Board prior to its scheduled May meeting, at which time discussions will continue.
The Amigos Nominating Committee has announced the slate of candidates for election to the Amigos Library Services Board of Directors. Candidate and voting information will be sent to the designated Voting Representatives of Amigos member institutions as part of an upcoming Call to Meeting mailing.
